PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has issued a stern warning to Bersatu, saying the party is reassessing its cooperation within Perikatan Nasional (PN) as election pressure mounts. He stressed that PAS has been patient with Bersatu’s actions but patience has limits. Hadi cited several incidents that strained ties: Bersatu assemblymen in Negeri Sembilan retracting statutory declarations against the Menteri Besar, moves in Perlis that sidelined PAS, and the dismissal of exco members and deputy speakers in Kedah and Kelantan.
Bersatu they fall
He criticised Bersatu for blocking membership of Malay‑Islam parties and moderate non‑Islam parties into PN. Hadi said these actions undermined trust and solidarity, warning that PAS may reconsider its alliance if Bersatu continues to act against coalition unity.
