The wife of a male actor has accused him of physically assaulting her, according to a police report which says the victim claims that her husband punched her several times, resulting in an injury to her eye.
The incident reportedly took place when the couple were in a car that stopped at a rest area in Selangor, and an argument broke out when the victim answered a phone call.
The police have confirmed that an investigation is underway and that the case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code. The age and identity of the parties involved have not been disclosed.
