Anwar Ibrahim Responds To Kid’s Message About Bullying and Racism

Malaysian schools are sometimes infamous for the racism and bullying that occur between their school grounds. However, this is namely true for most of the world, especially if said country is multiracial like Malaysia. 

Anwar Ibrahim addresses racism in schools

According to Says, Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim shared a response towards the incident on Facebook. The letter sent to our Prime Minister describes the racism the child has encountered with his classmates and even teacher. He has removed the post from his Facebook page as a request from the child’s parents.

The current Minister of Education, Fadhlina Sidek stated that the Ministry will not tolerate such behaviour done by the educators of our country. The MOE has plans to induce a zero racism policy in Malaysian schools.
