Dr Goh Pei Sean: Separation Of CO2 Gas

Dr Goh Pei Sean is an Associate Professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s Faculty of Engineering’s School of Chemical and Energy Engieering (UTM) and is a research fellow at the AMTEC, Toronto.

Her research interests are in the synthesis of various nanostructured materials and composites for membrane-based separation processes. She is also interested in the use of nanomaterials and polymeric nanocomposite membranes for acid gas removal, desalination, and wastewater treatment.

She believes that by choosing STEM as my mainstream subject, “it would help me in finding an interesting job with good prospects. Because of the nature of STEM fields, I am glad for this choice as I have a fulfilling career in science and am able to practice my critical-thinking ability.”
