An elderly man was killed after his motorcycle lost control and was struck by a lorry at KM6 Jalan Banting–Dengkil, Kuala Langat, around 5.30pm today. The victim, in his 60s, died at the scene from severe injuries. Dashcam footage of the 32-second crash has since gone viral.

District police chief Superintendent Mohd. Akmalrizal Radzi said the motorcyclist was heading to Banting when he veered into the middle lane, where a lorry driven by a man in his 50s collided with him. Both drivers held valid licenses. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
