SHAH ALAM: PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan denied claims that two PAS leaders attempted to influence Singapore’s 2025 General Election. Addressing Singapore’s decision to restrict social media access for PAS treasurer-general Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad and Selangor PAS Youth chief Mohamed Sukri Omar, Takiyuddin clarified their posts reflected personal views, not PAS’s stance. He emphasized PAS respects Singapore’s sovereignty and uses official channels for bilateral discussions, dismissing the allegations as baseless. He called Singapore’s response “exaggerated and one-sided,” noting PAS’s good relations with the republic and asserting the leaders’ comments were not intended to interfere with Singapore’s elections.
