Police believe the victim found with 61 stab wounds in Ketereh, Kota Baru on May 1, was killed inside a car before her body was left at the scene. Sources said she had gone out earlier in the day with one suspect in a Honda City, and later that night with another suspect, believed to be the main perpetrator, in a Perodua Bezza.

They reportedly ate at a restaurant in Wakaf Bharu, where the victim posted a food status on WhatsApp around 11 p.m., before her body was discovered at 12:30 a.m. The victim was a 19-year-old college student from Perak.
