Government Confirms 17-Storey Schools to Tackle Urban Overcrowding
A pilot project will launch this year in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Penang. The Ministry of Education highlighted cost reduction and improved access to education as key benefits. Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa noted that 139 sites have been identified for redevelopment under the Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 20.
