“I wish I Got Vaccinated,” Says Man On Death Bed

1 min read

A man on his death bed in the UK told nurses, “I wish I Got Vaccinated” for COVID-19 right before he passes away.

Daily Mirror says the man, Glenn Barrett, 51, was critically ill in intensive care when he said this to nurses. He was dying of Covid in hospital after a three-week battle with the virus.

His family believe he may have contracted it while watching an England game during Euro 2020, reports Grimsby Live.

Relatives said Glenn, from Cleethorpes, “had his worries and reasons” for not getting the jab.

“If he had, he would still be with us today,” says a family member.

“I’m not a doom monger or someone who’s telling you what you should do or not do. After all, we are supposed to live in a free world.

“But this is one of the saddest times of my life, losing my cousin, Big Glenn Barrett to Covid.”
