Shopee, one of our region’s biggest online retailers selling affordable day to day necessities up to items we don’t really need. Recently, a netizen complained of not receiving her parcel and Shopee told her to take a photograph of the missing item. Where is the logic in that?
She then added that maybe she should just take a picture of her hands holding nothing. Apparently, her friend did that for Shopee Singapore and it worked. Another netizen mentioned that these big retailers are making refunds impossible.
Furthermore, someone mentioned they haven’t received their order, and after numerous back and forth emails to Shopee, they still decided to release the money to the seller. This is a bad experience for consumers, especially if they received a seller who is dishonest as it appears that Shopee will protect the sellers more.
