The story of the Orang Asli in Malaysia being unheard of is pretty common. Apparently, when the native people requested the authorities, the Jabatan Alam Sekitar to investigate a polluted river, they instead told the people “sorry, we have no time for this.”

Netizens complain that the official should’ve taken their job seriously, if they can’t, it’s better to give it to someone who is more deserving. Others defended the department as they have been underfunded for several years.
Apparently, even upscale neighbourhoods like Damansara Heights are having clogged drains and nobody is doing anything about it. Calls for a restaffing for the department are all over the Tweet’s replies.
Many were upset at seeing how the native people are being treated in this country. Calls for giving equal rights to the native people are also quite prominent, as they shouldn’t be overlooked.
