Leaked Survey Shows Decline in Anwar’s Popularity

A leaked Merdeka Center survey suggests Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim faces declining support, while Deputy PM Ahmad Zahid Hamidi fares even worse. The findings show Khairy Jamaluddin as the most popular figure, with 62% approval among Malay respondents, followed by Muhyiddin Yassin (49%) and PAS’s Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar (48%). 

Survey Leak Sparks Debate Over Malay Voter Sentiment

Anwar ranked fourth at 45%, ahead of Abdul Hadi Awang (42%). Rafizi Ramli scored 36%, while Zahid trailed at 31%. Dissatisfaction levels were highest for Zahid (60%) and Anwar (51%). The leak has sparked debate, with PAS highlighting Samsuri’s rising profile as a potential message to Perikatan Nasional.
