“I would like to apologise for our jokes that were ‘viralised’ out of context. I like to joke but, since the joke is a bit rude, I want to let you know that I was only joking with the reporters,” Kedah MB Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor says.
The incident during a press conference last week went viral with netizens expressing disgust at the ‘joke’.
“I would like to apologise for the joke on Friday (Aug 6) that has gone viral. I’m the type who likes to crack jokes, but perhaps my joke yesterday was disrespectful, and as such, I would like to apologise.”
A video clip of the Menteri Besar saying “anyone wants to submit their names if the body containers are sufficient” went viral.
