While the Minister responsible for the effects of global warming in Malaysia, Nik Nazmi defended the push by Putrajaya for everything electric vehicle amid the adoption of the zero carbon policy, the PN managed to attack the said policies, putting emphasis on why the government will shift from fuel-based cars to EVs next year. Interesting debate though, don’t you think?

Nik Nazmi says: “There are those saying EV promotion is avoiding public transportation. Yes, the public transport system is important. However, EV principles cover the entire ecosystem from logistics vehicles to micromobility. More and more places need EVs as part of low-carbon solutions,” he insisted. Watch video.
