In a Facebook post, he thanked supporters and quoted Green Day lyrics: “In the end it’s right, I hope you had the time of your life.” Nik Nazmi and Rafizi Ramli stepped down after losing in the PKR central leadership election, with Nik Nazmi saying reform must take priority. Separately, he praised the Federal Court’s ruling deeming Section 9(5) of the Peaceful Assembly Act unconstitutional, calling it a victory for Malaysians’ right to peaceful assembly.
