Syed Abdullah, brother of Muar MP Syed Saddiq, criticised attempts to politicise his sibling’s personal life after PAS leaders claimed Saddiq was “busy dating” Bella Astillah. In a Threads post, Abdullah, known as Space Dollah, asked why happiness must be turned into politics.

The remarks came as PAS Johor launched its election machinery, vowing to capture Muar in GE16. Saddiq and Bella announced their engagement on March 28 atop Mount Kinabalu.
While PAS framed the relationship as a distraction, Abdullah insisted personal matters should not overshadow political discourse, highlighting growing tensions ahead of the polls.
