Restaurant employees in Sabah have been commended after stopping a man from allegedly spiking his female companion’s drink at Pate Grill. According to the restaurant owner, staff noticed the man pour an unidentified liquid from a packet into the woman’s drink after collecting it from the counter.

Acting quickly, they replaced the drink with a fresh one and later informed the woman privately in the restroom. Shocked, she left the premises immediately, telling staff she had only known the man for a few days. The incident was shared on TikTok to raise awareness about women’s safety.
