Tailgating incident: Nga says driver gave way to the ambulance!

Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming clarified that his driver, caught tailgating an ambulance, had given way to the emergency vehicle. The incident occurred on the PLUS North-South expressway while Nga was en route to an official event in Ipoh. His driver, spotting a trailing private ambulance, yielded to it amid traffic congestion.

Nga emphasized his support for rescue efforts and vowed to cooperate with authorities. Perak police recorded a statement from the minister’s driver, and a police report was lodged over the incident, says Perak police chief Comm DS Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri. Nga pledged to settle any fines imposed on his driver if found guilty.
