HAH ALAM: Barisan Nasional (BN) is currently leading in nine of the 17 seats contested by DAP in the 16th Johor State Election. According to DAP’s official tracking site as of 6:15 PM, these leads include key constituencies such as Jementah, Bekok, Tangkak, Yong Peng, and Perling.

The state assembly was dissolved on June 1 to pave the way for this election, following BN’s 2022 victory where they won 40 out of 56 seats. The Election Commission reported a 63.13% voter turnout by 4:00 PM, with Semarang recording the highest turnout at 72.6%.
