US sanctions six Malaysian companies for deals with Russia

Amid rising international tensions, six Malaysian companies faced unexpected sanctions from the U.S., linking them to Russia’s wartime supplies. The sanctioned companies include Zeolite Mansford Sdn Bhd, Centrina United Sdn Bhd, Gyntec Carbon Sdn Bhd, Moralability Industry Sdn Bhd, and Melix Global Sdn Bhd. In a press release issued on Wednesday (Oct 30), the U.S. State Department stated that these companies are part of a broader list of 120 individuals and entities across various countries.
