A woman was arrested in Kampung Miah, Kuala Krai, after police seized five firearms, including an M‑16 rifle, during Ops Bersepadu Khazanah Siri 4/2026. Southeast Brigade Commander Senior Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Radzi Hussain said the suspect was detained at 6.45 pm on Monday.

The weapons were discovered inside a house and have been taken, along with the suspect, to Gua Musang District Police Headquarters for further investigation. The case will be probed under the Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971. The operation also involved officers from the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan) and the State Forestry Department.
