KUALA LUMPUR – A gold shop in Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Brickfields, was robbed by four armed men around 11am today. The suspects, wielding two pistols, fled with 21 trays of gold weighing about 15kg, valued at RM9.7 million. They also seized a shotgun and ammunition belonging to the security guard.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed the case is being investigated under Sections 395/397 of the Penal Code. CCTV footage of the robbery has gone viral.
