Singapore Police Warn of Harassment Emails with Fake Sexual Images

SINGAPORE – Police have issued an advisory after at least three cases of harassment emails involving digitally altered sexual images were reported since March 2026. Victims received emails at work addresses containing manipulated photos, with senders threatening to upload them online or share with employers.

Police said victims’ information was likely obtained from publicly available sources. The public is advised to remain calm, avoid responding, and not transfer money or cryptocurrency. Victims should report immediately and provide copies of the emails. Information can be shared via hotline 1800-255-0000 or online, while urgent assistance is available at 999
