MELAKA – Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin has indicated he and 18 MPs supporting the “Reset” agenda may join a major existing party rather than form a new one. The Larut MP said creating a new political organisation is not the best path in Malaysia’s current landscape.

Instead, he stressed the importance of revitalising existing parties to remain relevant and attract public support. Speaking at a Hari Raya gathering in Melaka, Hamzah said parties must serve as principled platforms for struggle, not just meeting places. He emphasized strengthening religion, race, and nation through a clear political direction.
