Twenty‑one committee members of PKR’s Shah Alam division, along with key leaders including women representatives, announced their immediate resignation from the party. In a statement, they cited loss of confidence in party leadership, particularly President Anwar Ibrahim, accusing him of failing to uphold reform promises, transparency, accountability, and internal democracy.
Resignation
At the branch level, they criticized division chief Najwan Halimi for neglecting consultation in decision‑making. The group said elected committee members were excluded from key political appointments and organizational matters. Despite leaving PKR, they pledged to continue their struggle for the people and the nation outside the party.
