SUBANG JAYA: In the massive fire that erupted along Jalan Putra Harmoni, Putra Heights, on Tuesday morning, a young man, stripped bare and body in smoke, fled in panic from a construction site atop a hill. Witness Ahmad Baharudin, 56, recounted the dramatic moment the naked victim ran into his home, still smouldering. “His body was smoking, and he ran into my house before my son gave him a shirt to wear. ‘We all quickly left and gathered at a safe place,’ he said at Masjid Nurul Iman. The blaze, sparked by a gas pipeline explosion, injured Ahmad and his family, while others were rushed to Putrajaya and Serdang hospitals for treatment.
