A netizen Tweeted against the local administrative offices due to them switching everything to online applications, however documents still need to be sent physically. They further mentioned on what is the point of making everything online if you can’t upload a simple document online for LHDN.
However this is required due to verification processes. Some netizens mentioned that the government was late to implement online systems for the application process. Some mentioned that they have yet to invest in a large scale cloud system.
Furthermore, now our passport renewals have to be online as well, we no longer have to go UTC centers to renew them. However, for children they would still have to come physically. This method is currently having mixed reviews among the general public, but regardless, online applications are the future.
