PKR has appointed vice‑president Amirudin Shari as Election Director, replacing Nurul Izzah Anwar. Secretary‑General Fuziah Salleh said the decision was made during the party’s Political Bureau meeting yesterday, with Amirudin, who is also Selangor Menteri Besar, to work alongside Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

The restructuring aims to strengthen PKR’s readiness for upcoming polls. Fuziah also announced the appointments of Azman Abidin and Ruji Ubi as Directors of the Main Election Operations Room to enhance coordination and field operations. She added that PKR will leverage data and technology through the TERAS election system to ensure more organised and comprehensive strategies.
