Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the state is about 75% ready to face possible snap polls, noting there is no fixed benchmark for full preparedness. He explained that readiness depends on parliamentary dissolution, which signals elections. Chow, also Penang Pakatan Harapan chairman, said cooperation with Barisan Nasional remains open, with final decisions to be made at the national level.

He highlighted that Penang has completed 60% of its MyPenang Manifesto, with 34% ongoing and 6% pending. Chow stressed that manifesto implementation continues regardless of election timing, with progress accessible via the online dashboard.
