KUALA LUMPUR – Police believe an old grudge and turf dispute between organised crime groups sparked a shooting outside an entertainment outlet in Bangsar at 3am on April 22. A man was shot in the abdomen and is now in stable condition.

Bukit Aman CID director Datuk M. Kumar said two Malaysian men, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested within 24 hours at a Klang hotel. Both have prior drug-related records. Police seized a pistol, ammunition, and a suspected replica firearm. The suspects are remanded until April 29 under the Firearms Act and Penal Code.
