Petaling Jaya: An unemployed man will be charged in the Putrajaya magistrates’ court tomorrow with raping his 17-year-old daughter since she was 12, says Kuala Lumpur police chief Fadil Marsus. Police says a medical officer lodged a police report on June 18 after finding that the girl was pregnant.

“The victim said her father had forced her into sexual relations since she was 12 years’ old. “The 46-year-old suspect was arrested on June 19 and will be charged tomorrow,” Sinar Harian reported him as saying.
The man would be charged under Section 376(3) of the Penal Code for incestuous rape, which provides for 10 to 30 years’ imprisonment and whipping upon conviction.
