New: 17‑year‑old male in dangerous driving incident hitting 6 vehicles in Singapore

A 17‑year‑old male will be charged in court on May 28, 2026, for multiple traffic offences including dangerous driving causing hurt, driving underage, failing to stop when ordered, and using a deregistered car. On Jan 16, Traffic Police pursued him after he sped off along Paya Lebar Road, reaching 174 km/h on the ECP and running red lights while driving against traffic.

He collided with six stationary vehicles before fleeing on foot, injuring two people. Investigations revealed the car bore false plates. The teenager was also linked to a 2025 incident involving his grandmother’s car taken without consent.
