Shin Min Daily News reported the victim was struck and dragged, with the station cordoned off as police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers investigated. Eight deaths and 32 injuries were not involved here — this incident was isolated. The victim’s son arrived later, visibly distraught, collapsing in grief at the station. Police investigations into the tragedy are ongoing.
