SINGAPORE – Fifteen motorists aged between 32 and 70 will be formally charged after being caught driving under the influence of alcohol during enforcement operations between February and April 2026. The Singapore Police Force confirmed all offenders failed breathalyser tests during routine checks, part of ongoing efforts to curb drink driving and enhance road safety.

mong the highlighted cases, a 70-year-old van driver was arrested in Jurong West on March 4, while a 50-year-old motorist was detained along East Coast Parkway on March 30. Authorities warned of severe penalties, including fines, imprisonment, and driving disqualification, urging responsible behaviour on the roads.
