TEHRAN, June 11 — Iran’s military command announced today that all vessel traffic through the Strait of Hormuz will be targeted, declaring the strategic waterway “completely closed.” The Khatam al-Anbiya command said two ships attempting to pass were struck, citing repeated U.S. ceasefire violations.

President Donald Trump vowed to “hit them hard” after accusing Tehran of stalling peace talks, launching fresh U.S. strikes on Iranian air defence and radar sites. Explosions were reported across southern Iran near the strait. Revolutionary Guards warned that any vessel leaving anchorage in the Persian Gulf or Sea of Oman would be treated as hostile.
